Arnold Tabor

Mr. Arnold Eugene Tabor, age 74, of 3365 Byrd's Sawmill Rd., died Friday, February 24, 2012 at Alamance Regional Medical Center after several years of failing health. Born in Willow Bend, WV, he is the son of the late Guy H. Tabor and the late Lula Harvey Tabor and has been married to Mrs. Fannie Jeffries Tabor since 1985. Arnold was self employed and was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church. Mr. Tabor is survived by his wife of the home; a son, Jeffery Tabor and his wife, Julia, of Burlington; three grandchildren, Chad Tabor, Ashley Trotter and Laura Tabor; a sister, Shirley Scott and her husband, John, of Elon; a brother, Ralph Tabor of Roanoke, VA; and several nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 PM Sunday, February 26, 2012 at Emmanuel Baptist Church by Rev. Delton Agnor. Interment will follow at Kerr's Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 Saturday evening at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory and other times at the home of Ricky and Pam Ward, 3662 Kerr's Chapel Rd., Burlington. Mr. Tabor's family would like to extend a special thanks to Dr. Katherine Bliss for her generous and loving care of Arnold.
