Antonio Martines, Jr.

Antonio "Tony" Martines, Jr., 78, passed away Thursday, February 5, 2015 at Alamance Regional Medical Center following an acute brief illness. He was born March 22, 1936 in Guilford County to the late Antonio Martines, Sr. and the late Pauline Adams Martines. He was married to the late Edna Louise Whitesell Martines who passed away in 2013. Survivors include his daughter Rene Angiulli and her husband Daniel of Summerfield, grandchildren; Samuel Angiulli, Danielle Angiulli, a sister Frances Everhart and husband John of Greenville, SC, several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister Margie Martines Blake and a brother James David Martines. The funeral will be held 2:00 PM Saturday February 7, 2015 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Gerald Saunders. Interment will follow in Gibsonville City Cemetery. The family will receive friends 12:30 -1:45 at the funeral home prior to the service.
