Whitsett Annie Mae Neese Edmonds Victor, 89, passed away Friday, November 15, 2013 at the Hospice Home after a short illness. She was born in Guilford County to the late George Alfred Neese and the late Mary Ellen May Neese. Annie was married to the late James Monroe Edmonds and the late Charles Edward Victor. She retired from Dixie Belle, an active member with Mt. Hope United Church of Christ and a member of the Gleaner Sunday School Class. Survivors include her daughter, Pattie E. Dix of Elon; son and daughter-in-law, Steve and Joan Edmonds of Yuma, AZ; step daughters, Adrienne and George Furgurson of Georgia, Sylvia Francis of Colorado; step son, Jeff Victor of Colorado; 6 step grandchildren, 4 step great grandchildren; brothers, G.A. Neese, Jr. and Delbert Neese both of Florida. She was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands, a daughter, Julia Ellen Edmonds; brothers, Warren Neese, H. "Vincent" Neese and Colin Neese and son-in-law, Andrew "Frankie" Dix. The funeral will be held 3:00pm Sunday, November 17, 2013 at Mt. Hope United Church of Christ by Rev. Lloyd Spencer with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2pm to 2:45pm prior to the service at the church. At other times the family will be at the daughters' home. Memorials may be made to Mt. Hope United Church of Christ, 2400 Mt.
