Burlington-Annie Elizabeth "Lib" Campbell Rudd, 90, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, November 16, 2018 at Liberty Commons surrounded by her family.
She was born in Caswell County to the late Weldon Lee and Ollie Boswell Campbell.
Annie retired from Byrd's Food Stores after 18 years and was a homemaker. She was a longtime member of Glen Hope Baptist Church and a member of the Mildred Overman Sunday School class. Annie volunteered as a pink lady at ARMC for many years and was part of the Biscuitville Breakfast Club. She was a devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
Survivors include her daughter, Deborah Rudd Jordan of Burlington; grandchildren, Adam (Meredith) Jordan, Kelly (Jason) Westbrook an Marsha (Brad) Foust; great grandchildren, Jackson Jordan, Sam Jordan, Hannah Grace Lyon, Anna Cate Jordan, Lilly Westbrook, Maddison Westbrook and Cora Foust. She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Kathryn Smith; brothers and sisters-in-law, Roger Campbell and wife, Ruth and Hubert Campbell and wife, Maggie.
The family would like to thank the nurses and staff of Hospice and Palliative Care for their kind and compassionate care for Annie during her illness.
A service to celebrate her life will be held on Monday, November 19, 2018 at 2:00pm at Glen Hope Baptist Church by Rev. Steven Potts. The burial will follow at Oakview Pesbyterian Church in Caswell County. The family will receive friends from 12:45-1:45pm prior to the service on Monday and other times at the home of Marsha Foust, 810 S. Marye Drive, Graham, NC 27253.
