Anne Wagoner

Elon Anne Kapp Wagoner, 64, of 4346 Altamahaw Race Track Rd., passed away on Saturday, October 18, 2008 at her home surrounded by her family. She was a native of Alamance County and was married to the late Jerry Alfred Wagoner. Anne was employed for many years as a teacher with the Altamahaw Baptist Church Day Care and attended Bethlehem Christian Church. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother and she enjoyed spending time at the beach. She is survived by her daughters and son-in-law, Michelle and Fred Barringer of Gibsonville, Teresa Wagoner of Elon, Kimberly Wagoner, and Wendy Doyle both of Burlington; granddaughter, Jeri Barringer; sister and brother-in-law, Sharon Kapp Reavis and her husband, Jim of Mebane; brother and sister-in-law, Grant Kapp and his wife, Kathy of Mebane; sister-in-law, Loretta Wagoner Harrison; nieces, Kelsey Dunlap, Lisa Brad Atkins and Lynne Harrison Dana McKenzie; nephews, Jimmy NikkiKapp and Gary DebbieHarrison; great nieces, Brandy Harrison and Nora Grace McKenzie. She was preceded in death by her husband and parents, Granville Alexander Kapp, Sr. and Mary Alice Garrison Kapp. The funeral will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, October 21, 2008 at Bethlehem Christian Church by Rev. Dave Gilbert and Rev. David Greene and Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Monday at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory and other times at the home.
