Anne Harvey

Anne McGuire Harvey, 75, of S. Main St. went home to be with the Lord on Monday, January 11, 2010 at the Hospice Home after a brief illness. She was born in Caswell County to the late Walter William and Carrie Neighbors McGuire and was married for 57 years to Jacob "Jake" Long Harvey, Sr. who survives. She was a homemaker and attended Christian Bible Fellowship. She is survived by her husband of the home, daughter and son-in-law, Harriette and Mike Garrison of Graham; son and daughter-in-law, Jacob, Jr. and Carla Harvey of Charleston, SC; grandchildren, Jennifer Harvey, Justin Harvey, Ashley Abee, Caleb Garrison, Sonja Sams and Steffanie Taylor; two great grandchildren and a brother, Ray McGuire of Yanceyville. She was preceded in death by her parents, infants, Neva Lynette and William Joseph Harvey, and a brother, Frank McGuire. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Bruce Readling and Paul Baker with interment to follow at Pine Hill Cemetery. There will be no visitation. At other times the family will be at the residence. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Alamance-Caswell, 914 Chapel Hill Rd., Burlington, NC 27215.
