Anna Fitzpatrick

Mebane - Anna Mae Mary Mowell Fitzpatrick, 78, passed away Monday, October 30, 2017 at the Hospice Home. She was born in Dutchess, NY on May 29, 1939 to the late Henry Charles Mowell and Louise Scott Mowell and was married to the late Charles Patrick Fitzpatrick who died in 1992.

Anna Mae retired as a secretary with Met Life Insurance Company. She attended Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church and enjoyed going to spin class at the gym and traveling.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Colleen and Larry Kent Hursey, Jr.; son and daughter-in-law, Timothy "Tim" and Tracie Fitzpatrick; grandchildren, Ryan Cobey, Amanda Cobey and Shane Fitzpatrick; great grandson, Carsyn Hursey and a sister, Mary Bialosuknia. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and a brother, Henry "Herk" Mowell.

The funeral service will be held 10:00am Friday, November 3, 2017 at Sweet's Funeral Home Chapel in Hyde Park, NY with the burial to follow in St. Peter's Cemetery in Poughkeepsi, NY. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Hospice of Alamance-Caswell, 914 Chapel Hill Road, Burlington, NC 27215.
