Ann Forehand Williams

  Ann retired from Westpoint Stevens after spending her career in the textile Industry. She was a longtime member of Altamahaw Baptist Church and member of the Adult Ladies Sunday School Class. She was a former Sunday School Teacher and was involved with various ministries of the church when she was able. Ann enjoyed helping people, sewing and traveling. She loved her family and her many friends and was a devoted wife, mother, sister and Aunt.

  Survivors include her nieces, Ellen Porter of Burlington and Ruth (Danny Joe) Wilson of Elon; nephews, Tommy (Gayle) Terrell of Snow Camp, Danny (Cathy) Terrell of Graham, Joey Bryant of Deland, Florida, Bobby Bryant of Oklahoma and Mike Jones of Savannah. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents; sons, David and Mark Williams; sisters, Ruby Bryant, Hattie Montgomery and Nell Jones; brothers, Carl Forehand and Billy Forehand.

   A funeral service to celebrate her life will be held at 3:00pm on Sunday, February 19, 2023 at Altamahaw Baptist Church by Pastor Walter Jones with the burial to follow at the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:30 until 2:45 pm prior to the service at the church and other times the family will be at the home of her niece, Ellen Porter.
