Angielin Yaun Fowler

     Mrs. Mary Angielin Yaun Fowler, age 85, of Liberty, NC went home to be with the Lord on Friday, May 10, 2024 at Moses H. Cone Hospital after a brief illness. 

     Born in Charleston, SC, she was the daughter of the late Mason Edgar Yaun and the late Mary Wiggins Yaun and was married for 56 years to Franklin Cicero “Frank” Fowler, Jr., who passed in 2017.  She was a career homemaker and longtime member of Christian Bible Fellowship.   Angielin loved spending time with family and was happiest when everyone was together.  She enjoyed reading and cooking for the holidays, especially desserts.

    Mrs. Fowler is survived by her two sons, Franklin Cicero Fowler, III of Charlotte and Scott Eugene Fowler and wife, Terri of Raleigh, NC; her daughter, Cheryl Fowler Sandford and husband, Bill of Burlington; grandchildren, Seth Fowler, Delani Fowler, Christopher Sandford, William Sandford and fiancé, Rylie Corbin, Luke Sandford and Levi Sandford; a brother, Richard Yaun; and a sister, Fran Rogers. She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; and a brother, Mason Edgar Yaun, Jr.

     A service to celebrate her life will be held 1:00 PM Friday, May 17, 2024 at Christian Bible Fellowship by Pastor Brian Hill.  Interment will follow at Alamance Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 PM Thursday evening at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory.
