Angela Lewis

Burlington – Angela Mechelle Lewis, 47, passed away on Friday, March 15, 2019.  She was born in Alamance County on June 7, 1971 to Harry Coble Lewis and Ann Smithey Hester who both survive.  Angela was a homemaker and devoted her time in taking care of her parents.  She enjoyed spending time with her family and was an animal lover.

Survivors other than her parents include her daughters, Katie Nicole Hutchens and Brianna Lindsay Galloway; her sons, Brandon Leigh Conyers and Will Thomas Galloway; a brother, Eric Coble Lewis and wife, Kristi; nieces, Amber Hope Lewis and Brittney Ann Lewis; and her feline fur babies, Tikki Tat, Fancy, Shelly and Booger.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Dossie Smithey and Nellie Smithey; paternal grandparents, Loren Gray Lewis, Sr. and Jewel Coble Lewis; and her stepfather, James “Eddie” Edward Hester.

The celebration of life service will be held at 4:00pm Saturday, March 30, 2019 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel.  The family will receive friends following the service.
