Angela Renee Best, 45, went home to be with her heavenly Father on Friday, June 7, 2024 at Duke University Hospital surrounded by family. She was born in Monroe, Louisiana and is the daughter of Ricky and Debra Best.
Angela was an avid fan of the arts and loved books, film and music. From the time Angela was in high school through adulthood her passion was theater. She never wanted to be the center of attention but when she was on stage, she transformed into a star that shined bright. Angela was very adventurous and loved to travel. Her favorite places to visit were New York City and Paris. Angela was always learning and teaching herself new hobbies that she always mastered.
Angela grew up in a loving, christian home and was very involved in church as a youth. From writing plays for the children's department to traveling with a youth worship team, she always incorporated the arts into her ministry. Angela always had a courageous spirit and approached any obstacle with determination and tenacity. She was a warrior who battled and overcame cancer three times.
Angela was a loving and devoted daughter, granddaughter, sibling and aunt who truly enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her nieces and nephew. She is survived by her husband, Andrei Fedyszyn; parents, Ricky and Debra; siblings, David Best and wife Lexie, Ashley Best Oldham and her husband John; nieces and nephew, Peyton, Audrey, Annie, Alice and Cooper; grandmother, Lorene Best, and many other extended family members.
