Andrew Mock

Andrew Marshall Mock, age 28, formerly of Burlington died from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident on Saturday, April 16, 2011. He was a native of Alamance County and the son of John Richard Mock and Becky Hurley Mock and the husband of Amber Saunders Mock. Andrew was employed by Edwards Wood Products of Liberty. He was a 2001 graduate of Western Alamance High School and a 2003 graduate of Alamance Community College. Andrew was a member and participated in National Auto Sports Association, the Porsche Club of American and World Karting Association. Survivors include his wife, Amber Saunders Mock of Snow Camp; beloved son, Chad Timothy Mock of the home; parents, John Richard Mock and Becky Hurley Mock of Burlington; sister, Meredith Ashley Mock of Australia; in-laws, Timothy Rex and Sarah Smith Saunders of Snow Camp; maternal grandmother, Pauline Welch Hurley of Burlington; paternal grandmother, Ruth Setty Mock of Columbia, South Carolina and paternal grandfather, Richard Hardy Mock of Georgia. He also has many uncles, aunts, cousins and friends who will dearly miss him. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Manley Banks Hurley, Sr. A Celebration of Life service will be held on Thursday, April 21, 2011 at 4:00 p.m. at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. David Overman. The family will receive friends following the service and other times at his parent's home in Burlington or at the home in Snow Camp.
