Amy Lynn Catoe, an angel on earth gained her heavenly wings on Saturday, August 24, 2024. She was preceded in death by her parents Drewlane Catoe and Laura Catoe, her paternal grandparents Louis Catoe and Nannie Catoe and her maternal grandparents Frank Ray and Mozelle Ray. She leaves behind two sisters Druanne Massey and husband, Tommy Massey, Pamela Moyers and husband John Moyers, nephews Stephen Massey (Jessica), Drew Moyers (Felicia), nieces Andrea Massey, Karis Milliken (Alex) a great nephew Preston Moyers, and a great niece Abigail Massey, as well as a host of loving family.
The family would like to express their gratitude to caregivers Nancy Griffin and Linda Ray. Amy was so special and the center of our family, it took a village to care for her and we appreciate all the love and help received by all that knew her. To know her was to love her.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Burlington Fire Department/ Fire Prevention Kids Program at 215 S. Church St. Burlington, NC 27215 or Ralph Scott Lifeservices at 408 W. Trade St. Burlington, NC 27217. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Amy’s doctors Jeffrey Sparks, Hemang Shah and Robert Greenwood as well as her hospice nurse Amy Parsons for all your compassionate care.
A funeral service will be held at 12:00PM on Wednesday, August 28, 2024 in the chapel at Lowe Funeral Home by Rev. Randy Hobbs with the burial to follow at Alamance Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 10:30-11:45am prior to the service at the funeral home.
