Alyssa Lovell

Colonial Heights, Virginia-Alyssa Marie Lovell age 54, passed away on Tuesday, July 28, 2015. A native of Alamance Count, she was the daughter of Marie Mundy Lovell who survives and the late Kermit Lovell. Alyssa was a teacher for many years at Haw River Elementary School in Alamance County and at Pearsontown Elementary in Durham. She graduated from Elon College with a bachelor's degree in education and social studies. Alyssa also received a master's degree in education also from Elon College. She is survived by her mother, Marie Mundy Lovell, her aunt Judy Elliott of Colonial Heights, her canine companion "Piper" and numerous other aunts, uncles and cousins. A cryptside service will be held on Sunday, August 2, 2015 at 2:00pm by Rev. Don Overman at Alamance Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel.
