Alyce Bowman

Alyce Hutchins Bowman, age 86, of Burlington, N.C., died Saturday, January 1, 2011, at Liberty Commons of Alamance in Burlington. She was the daughter of the late Sydney Hutchins and the late Myrtle Lowder Hutchins and was married to the late Joseph Neese Bowman. She worked for Koury's dress shop for several years. She is survived by her son, Michael L. Bowman of Wilmington; granddaughters, Rachel Bowman of Marathon, FL and Ginger McCall of Las Vegas, NV and sisters, Reu Christiansen and Vivian Wilson, both of Burlington, Jackie Hutchins of Jacksonville, FL and Joan Chrismon of Cary. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and her son, Christopher Reese Bowman. There will be a gathering of family and friends at a later date.
