Alvin Bradshaw

Alvin Roe Bradshaw, age 76, of Kimesville Rd., passed away Tuesday, October 11, 2011 at Hospice Home. A native of Alamance County, he was the son of the late Edward Osborne and Mamie Alice Allred Bradshaw. Alvin was a self-employed drywall contractor and a charter member of Antioch Baptist Church. Survivors include one sister, Donna Mae Boggs and husband Jeff of Graham, niece and caregiver, Janice Bradshaw and great nephew Christopher Cook. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Lillian Howe; brothers, Edward Bradshaw, Earl Bradshaw, Harold Bradshaw and Paul Bradshaw. A graveside service will be held at 2:00pm Friday in the Pleasant Hill Christian Church Cemetery by Rev. Steve Loy. Mr. Bradshaw will remain at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory until being taken to the cemetery for services. The family will receive friends from 6-8pm Thursday at Lowe Funeral Home and at other times his residence. The family would like to thank the Hospice nurses for the special care they gave Alvin for over two and a half years.
