Alma Bowman

Liberty - Alma Lynell Johnson Bowman, 92, passed away Monday, August 21, 2017 at White Oak Manor. She was born in Randolph County on March 13, 1925 to the late Jasper Newton Johnson and Decie Campbell Johnson and was married to the late Vernon Bowman.

Alma is survived by her daughter, Peggy B. Penny and husband, Jim; granddaughters, Allena B. Hunter and husband, Steven, Angela B. Faulkner and husband, Scott and four great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, a son, Alan Ray Bowman, nine sisters and brothers.

The family is planning a memorial service at a later date. The family will be at Alma's house. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Hospice of Alamance-Caswell, 914 Chapel Hill Road, Burlington, NC 27215. You may sign the online register book at www.lowefuneralhome.com.
