Alisha Hawk

Alisha Dawn was received into Heaven by her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on May 19, 2018. Born August 3, 1979 in Alamance County, she was the wife of Michael "Mike" Hawk and mom to Landon Charles, Kaitlyn Elizabeth and Jaleigh Faith.

A 1997 graduate of Western Alamance High School, Alisha was a devoted wife and mother and a "die hard" Tar Heel fan. Though Alisha had worked as a billing specialist and customer service representative, she was most recently blessed to be a stay at home mom to Landon and Kaitlyn, her "Angel Loves".

In addition to her husband and children, she is survived by her father and mother, Robert and Joni Grooms of Burlington; sister, Jami (John) Doby of Graham; brother, Rob Grooms of Burlington; maternal grandmother, Rochelle Berry of Burlington; father and mother-in-law, Clinton and Sharon Glasgow of Snow Camp, sister and brother-in-law, Jennifer and Jason Braxton of Snow Camp; nieces and nephews, Anna Grooms, Caleb Franklin, Stephanie and Sarah Doby, Chandler and Cohen Grooms and Kaycie Braxton; aunts and uncles, Richard (Sherry) Berry of Clemmons, Chuck Berry of Burlington, Amy (Tanya) Berry of Burlington, Ransome (Linda) Grooms of Charleston, SC and Barbara (Dickie) Dingle of Isle of Palms, SC and 15 cousins.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Richard "Pedie" Berry and her paternal grandparents David and Lennis Grooms.

A service to celebrate her life will be held on Friday, May 25, 2018 at 2:00 pm at Trinity Worship Center led by Reverend Darrell Cox. Burial will follow at Magnolia Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm on Thursday at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory. At other times the family will be at the home of her sister, Jami Doby of Graham.

Donations may be made to a fund for her children, Landon and Kaitlyn in care of their father, Michael W. Hawk, 8461 NC Hwy 49 South, Snow Camp, NC 27349.
