Alex Davis, Jr.

Alex Jackson Davis, Jr., 66, passed away on Wednesday, January 13, 2021.  He was born in Alamance County to the late Alex Jackson Davis, Sr. and the late Lucille Horner Davis.  He was married for 47 years to Phyllis Davis who survives.  Alex loved fishing, racing and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife, Phyllis, daughters, Laura Davis Slaton and husband Marty, Christie Davis (Frankie); grandchildren, Brittany Vice, Joshua Parrott, Katelyn Vice, Christopher Bradsher, Jaxton Eugene Slaton; niece, Julie Mebane; nephews, Terry Davis, Danny Davis and his four beloved fur babies.  He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, William Larry Davis.

A service to celebrate his life will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, January 17, 2021 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. David Hopkins with interment to follow in Lighthouse Baptist Church Cemetery in Mebane.
