Albert Wyatt, Jr.

Albert Thornton Wyatt, Jr., age 71, of 1308 Lashley Park Dr., died October 8, 2011 at Alamance Regional Medical Center after several months of failing health. Born in Danville, VA, he was the son of the late Albert T. Wyatt, Sr. and the late Ruth Moore Wyatt and was married for over 52 years to Bessie Bovee Wyatt, who survives. Albert was retired from General Motor Repair in Greensboro, NC and was of the Methodist faith. He was an avid golfer. Mr. Wyatt is survived by his wife of the home; five children, Joy A. Wyatt of Virginia Beach, Kathy Kraft and her husband, Mark, of Rolesville, NC, Jeff Wyatt and his wife, Betsy, of Gibsonville, Patsy Crump and her husband, Roger, of Bahama, NC and Melynda Pearce of Wake Forest; five grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and five siblings, Linda Prevette of Alton, VA, Pamela Irby of Lynch Station, VA, Bobby Wyatt of Danville, VA, Jerry Wyatt of Pelham, NC and Barbara Simms of Danville, VA. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Norman Wyatt and Ronnie Wyatt. A graveside service will be conducted at 1:00 PM Monday, October 10, 2011 at Gibsonville City Cemetery by Rev.
