Albert Sheibley

Albert "Ray" Raymond Sheibley, 67, passed away Wednesday, June 15, 2016 at Moses Cone Hospital. He was born August 8, 1948 in Los Angeles, CA to the late William Ross and Pauline Katherine Cole Sheibley. He had served in the U.S. Air Force and retired from TIMCO in Greensboro. He was an accomplished photographer and a passionate, loyal, devoted caring person. He was an Appalachian State Mountaineer fan and a great supporter and fan of Western Alamance Athletics. He was known for saying "Here we go now! Here we go." He would always change the atmosphere in a positive way. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his companion Emogene Kernodle. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Nancy Jane Sheibley Clontz.
The funeral will be held 4:00 PM Monday at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Todd Felkel. Interment will be in Salisbury National Cemetery at a later date.
The visitation will be held following the service at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Western High School Athletic Boosters, Inc., c/o Treasurer, PO Box 204, Elon, NC 27244.
