Adrian Marshall Wilson

Adrian Marshall “Whip” Wilson, 89, passed away Monday, July 20, 2020 at his home, surrounded by his family.

A native of Alamance County, he was the son of the late Sterling and Eva Satterfield Wilson and husband of Lettie Allison Wilson who survives.

Adrian retired from Western Electric with 36 years of service. He was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church in Graham where he loved singing in the choir. He was a former member of Andrews Memorial Baptist Church and was a U.S. Marine Corp veteran.

Survivors include his wife of 67 years, Lettie Allison Wilson of the home; daughter Andrea Loy and husband Scott of Burlington, 2 grandchildren Collin Wilson Loy and Spencer Andrew Loy; nephews Don Wilson (June) and Lee Wilson (Debbie).  Adrian was preceded in death by an infant son Adrian Marshall Wilson, Jr. and a brother, Meredith Wilson.

A funeral service will be held at 3:00pm Thursday, July 23, 2020 in the Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Norman Fargis and Rev. Larry Lamberth. Interment will follow in Graham Memorial Park.

Mr. Wilson will be available for viewing from 9-12 noon Thursday at Lowe Funeral Home & Crematory.
