Adolph "Frankie" Woodard, age 60, of 8250 Hwy. 49 South, passed away Monday, October 28, 2013 at Hospice Home. A native of Alamance County, he was the son of the late Russell Franklin and Lillie Rose Johnson Woodard and husband of Susan Foster Woodard who survives. He was employed at Cone Mills and a member of Trinity Baptist Church. He was an avid UNC and wrestling fan, loved fishing and spending time with his dogs, family and friends. Survivors include his wife, Susan Foster Woodard of the home; daughters, Amy W. Nelson and husband Frankie E. of Burlington, Heather Woodard and fianc, Jesse Rojas of Graham; son, Brian Franklin Woodard of the home; grandchildren, Mathew Nelson, Deron Nelson, Natalia Rojas, Olivia Rojas and Daniella Rojas; his dogs, Thumper, Sweet Pea and Boots; brother, Danny Woodard and wife Karen of Burlington; sisters, Susan Fox and husband Allen of Matthews, Janet Reed and husband Tracy of Graham and Darlene Crenshaw of Durham. Funeral services will be held at 11:00am Thursday, Octobers 31, 2013 in the Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Phillip Sutton. Interment will follow in Alamance Memorial Park. Mr. Woodard will remain at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory through the funeral service. The family will host a reception and receive friends at the funeral home from 6-8pm Wednesday and at the residence at other times. The family would like to thank the staff of Hospice of Alamance-Caswell and Sherri Taylor, Dr. Richard Letvak and Dr. James Love for their support and care of Adolph during his illness
