Addison Saul, Jr.

Addison Yarbrough A.Y. Saul, Jr., 68, of 3309 Stoney Creek Church Rd. died on Friday, December 8, 2006 at Moses H. Cone Hospital in Greensboro. He was born in Alamance County, son of the late A. Y. Saul, Sr. and the late Ruth Smithey Saul, and was married to Georgie Irene Crumpton Saul, who survives. A. Y. was a former employee of P. Lorillard Tobacco Company in Greensboro and was of the Baptist faith. He is survived by his wife, Georgie Irene Crumpton Saul of the home, daughter, Sylvia Weatherford and husband Steven of Burlington; sons, Daniel Danny Saul and friend Frances of Efland, Kenny Saul and wife Donna of Burlington; 5 grandchildren; 5 step grandchildren; 2 step great grandchildren; sisters, Jeanette Apple of Mebane, Shirley Ward, Mary Beale and husband Garland, Patsy Haizlip and husband Leon, all of Elon and brothers, Levi Saul and wife Alene of Elon and Bill Saul and wife Ida Mae of Burlington. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Alice Baughn. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, December 11, 2006 at Emmanuel Baptist Church with Rev. Delton Agnor and Rev. Tommy Richardson officiating. Interment will follow in Alamance Memorial Park.
