Gibsonville, NC Ada Florence King Wyrick, age 100, went home to be with her Lord on Tuesday, October 21, 2008 at St. Gale's Manor in Greensboro. She was a native of Guilford County and the wife for over 70 years to the late Henry Franklin Wyrick. Ada was a homemaker, a lifelong member of Apple's Chapel Christian Church and a member of the Sunshine Sunday School Class. She loved needle crafting, gardening and especially growing flowers. Ada lived out her faith in every area of her life. Survivors include her daughter, Judy Kay Wyrick of Gibsonville; several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, parents, William and Daisy Michael King and a brother, Stiner King. A celebration of her life will be held on Friday, October 24, 2008 at 3:00 p.m. at Apple's Chapel Christian Church by Rev. C. Allen Myers, III, Rev. Tim Geiger and Rev. Don Ledbetter and the burial will follow at Lakeview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8:30 p.m. on Thursday at Apple's Chapel Christian Church and other times at the home.
