Abbey Michelle Glosson, 16, of 228 Henderson Tanyard Rd., went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 26, 2006 at UNC Hospital. A native of Orange County, she was the daughter of Jerry Mark Glosson and Renee Summers Glosson, who survive. Abbey was the Junior Class President at Jordan-Matthews High School, a Varsity Cheerleader, and was involved in the Beta Club, D.E.C.A., and the F.C.A. She was a graduate of Barbizon Modeling School, worked at S & T Soda Shop, and of the Christian Faith. Abbey is survived by her parents of the home; a sister, Rebecca Glosson of the home; maternal grandmother, Shirley Summers of Pittsboro; paternal grandfather, Carlyle Glosson of Graham; great grandfather, Lonnie Shepherd of Haw River; aunts and uncles, Paul and Gaye Long, Donald and Gena Bradsher, Jeff and Lisa Glosson, and Donna Glosson; and cousins, Eric, Stephanie, Brooki, Gayla, Taylor, Page, Julia, and Olivia; and special friends, Meredith Holley and Brandon Marley. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Buddy Summers; and paternal grandmother, Wanda Glosson. The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 PM Wednesday, March 29, 2006 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. John Shields and Bob Sargent. Interment will follow in Graham Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 11:00-1:45 Wednesday, prior to the service, and other times at the home.
