Ray Uhler

Ray F. Uhler, 60, of Gibsonville, NC, passed away peacefully holding his true love, Alicia’s, hand, on June 19, 2020.

Born in Ellerslie, MD, Ray was the son of the Edward H. Uhler, deceased, and Edna C. Uhler, who survives.

Ray was employed for over 42 years at Donald W. Perry Company / TOP Construction Company, serving as VP of Construction. He was a member of Westover Church in Greensboro, NC, serving with the Parking Ministry, and with Ginger’s List, which performed services for the widows who were Westover members. Ray was a faithful and loyal friend to everyone he met. His boundless heart and giving spirit shall always be treasured by his family and all who knew him.

Those Ray leaves behind to treasure his memory include his wife, Alicia L. Uhler, his mother, his brothers, Ed (Vicki) Uhler, Mark (Tina) Uhler, his sister, Sue A. Uhler, his brothers-in-law, Jeff (Teresa) Young, Jon (Kelli) Young, his sister-in-law, Melanie (Jeff) York, nine nieces and nephews, and fifteen great nieces and nephews.

The family will be having a private graveside service. A public memorial service for Ray will be announced at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Lung Cancer Alliance or the American Cancer Society.
