Marion "Maggie" Anderson

Marion “Maggie” Theresa Fausel Anderson, 90, passed away on Monday, July 8, 2019 at Liberty Commons surrounded by her family.  Maggie was born in Brooklyn, NY on May 13, 1929 to the late Emil Fausel and Edna Williams Fausel.

She was a retired operator with the telephone company.  Maggie formerly worked at the grill at Shamrock Golf Course, the Moose Lodge, Dottie’s Restaurant and was a former Mary Kay consultant.  She was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church.

Maggie is survived by her sons, Mark Anderson and wife Heide, Scott Anderson and wife Lynn; grandchildren, Tiffany Jones and husband, Matt, Holly Anderson and Kaleb Anderson; great grandchildren, Aubreigh, Kynleigh and Waylin Jones; a sister-in-law, Virginia Loy Fausel; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Gary Robert Anderson; brother, Emil “E.T.” “Dewey” Fausel and a half-brother, Frank Fausel.

The celebration of life service will be held 4:00pm Friday, July 12, 2019 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Nathan Hooks.  The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home and other times at Mark and Heide’s residence.

Memorials may be made to Hospice of Alamance-Caswell, 914 Chapel Hill Road, Burlington, NC 27215.
